When times are hard and mental health is low, taking care of yourself can feel like one of the hardest things to do. It’s so easy to let the little things slip when life feels heavy. Your glow, that light that makes you feel good in your own skin, is often one of the first things to fade. And sometimes it’s not even about vanity, it’s about how much lighter you feel when you see yourself cared for.
When I created Jasmine Rooted Beauty, my only thoughts were about giving people a place to breathe, reset, and walk out feeling a little more like themselves. I wanted everyone who came through our doors to leave not only relaxed but confident in their own glow again. That feeling when you look in the mirror and actually smile at yourself, that’s what I wanted to bring back.
My biggest goal has always been simple, to help people feel at home in their own skin. I want to remind others, and even myself, that tough times don’t have to mean poor self-love. You still deserve care, even on the days when it feels hardest to give it to yourself. Sometimes that care starts with the smallest step, like taking the time to breathe, to let someone else care for you, or to just allow yourself a moment of peace.
Jasmine Rooted Beauty is more than just skin care to me, it’s about connection. It’s about showing people that they are not alone in feeling the weight of the world and that taking time for yourself is not selfish, it’s necessary. When you invest even a little bit of energy into yourself, that energy spreads into other parts of your life too.
At the end of the day, I believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful in their own way. Everyone deserves their glow, no matter what season of life they’re in.
